FIELD NOTES
In the silent city, every sign speaks of a past mistake that cannot be undone — only measured. The film explores the illusion of control, the weight of responsibility, and how easily humans learn to live with catastrophe instead of truly understanding its consequences.
This project is my first short film created with the assistance of artificial intelligence. While AI tools are often assumed to accelerate production, the reality is the opposite: each 5–8 second shot requires hours of precise planning. Every movement, expression, and environmental behavior must be explicitly defined — including what must not occur. AI systems naturally tend toward creative variation, which demands constant refinement and control.
The world of the film is built on original photographs, onto which the characters, atmosphere, and events were constructed. The project also serves as a snapshot of rapidly evolving AI filmmaking — a moment where the technology advances faster than the production itself can be completed.
